The Professional Firefighters Association of Louisiana made a major donation Tuesday to 2 burn camps.
Throughout the year, the PFFA raises money to help several organizations across the state.
Tuesday, $10,000 was given to a camp in Baton Rouge designed specifically for young burn victims. Another $10,000 was given to the Percy Johnson Foundation in Shreveport.
"It is so important because a lot of these children may be the only children that has had a burn injury. This camp allows them to come and be with other children that have suffered a horrific injury and that's why we call it 'I'm Still Me,' you're still me on the inside," said Percy Johnson with the Burn Foundation.
The money raised by firefighters also goes to CPR training for high school students.
